Places to stay
There is generally lots to choose from as Scarborough is a popular area to stay
because of it’s beach front location. You’ll want somewhere close to
Scarborough Beach Road, as the Scarborough Community Center is further up
the hill on the corner of Scarborough Beach Road and Gildercliffe Street.
I’ve listed just a few of the more popular places but there are plenty more,
including many places on Stayz and Airbnb. The descriptions are copied from

You may also decide to stay in Perth city and commute out to Scarborough each
Sea Shells Scarborough- 4 star
Overlooking the Indian Ocean, these bright apartments are a 2-minute walk from
the beach, 5 km from Wembley Golf Course and 11 km from the Aquarium of

West Beach Lagoon- 2 star
Steps from Scarborough Beach, this relaxed collection of holiday apartments is a
2-minute walk from the Scarborough Beach bus stop, 3.7 km from Floreat Beach
and 16 km from the Western Australian Museum.

Transport to the venue
Glendalough train station is the closest station; the # 990 bus goes from there
to and from Scarborough Beach Road.
The journey will take about 15 minutes from both Scarborough Beach or the train

Buses run every 5-10 minutes Monday- Friday till midnight, every 15 minutes till
midnight on Saturdays and 15 minuets on Sunday and Public Holidays till 9pm.
