A partnership between Goshen College Music Together and Triple P Elkhart County is studying the ways in which Music Together® naturally supports early relational health in both preschool and infant classes by modeling developmentally supportive practices, creating moments of shared attention and joy between caregivers and children, and strengthening caregiver confidence and connection.

The American Academy of Pediatrics defines early relational health as “a framework that explores the role of early relationships and experiences in healthy development across a child’s lifetime”, including healthy brain development. Early relational health is grounded in safe, stable, and nurturing interactions between children and the adults who care for them.
